Terrible front desk server , Tara. Booked me twice into Occupied rooms - we walked in a a lady was half dressed laying in her bed!!!! Additionally - Tara was not helpful in explaining the check in process , was very short and dismissive with her answers , and did not seem to know what she was doing.

The room itself was clean and roomy. The room did not smell like anyone smoked in it. Pet friendly was a plus. Again could not smell that a pet was in the room prior.

The location was perfect. Close to East Main Street in Meridan. All the fast food and gas stations were close by. Highways were right there too if you needed to go to Middletown, Hartford, Wallingford, etc.

Friendly, accommodating front desk staff-- I've found with motel/hotel rooms reviews are always a mixed bag, so you pay your money and take your chances. I opened the door to a large, very clean, great smelling room. It was homey and comfortable and a good value. What more could I ask for? I ended up staying three nights more than I had planned.
